This allows the minimum pre-flight surface interval of 18 hours before flying after diving the next day. After the last two dives of this top Sorong diving liveaboard trip have been completed, MSV Amira will plot a course for Port. Guests then have free time to unwind and spend at their leisure!

Day 1 = (0-1 dives) Transfers to the high class Raja Ampat diving liveaboard MSV Amira from Sorong Hotels/Airport. Welcome briefing by Cruise Director, ship orientation and cabin allotment before setting sail from Sorong Harbour. If possible a first dive will be done……

Days 2 - 10 = A routine diving day on this luxury Sorong scuba diving liveaboard is typically made up of 3-4 dives per day including Raja Ampat night diving each evening! *However, when crossing – it may sometimes only be possible to plan 2 dives per day.

West Papua liveaboard divers will dive all the best Raja Ampat dive sites at Misool, Northern Raja Ampat and Mansuar.

Four Kings liveaboard diving at Misool Island offers breathtaking scenery with picturesque lagoons, beautifully coloured corals and copious amounts of fish presenting fantastic Raja Ampat underwater photography opportunities – with Fiabacet & Boo Windows being particular favourites!

Five star Indonesia macro dives with Nudibranchs, Ghost pipefish, plus more await Misool divers – including awesome Raja Ampat Pygmy seahorse diving amidst the splendid seafans at Gorgonian Passage, where you can see Bargibanti and Denise’s pygmy seahorses!

Raja Ampat sharks dives with Grey reef, Blacktip & Whitetip sharks are also possible at Nudi Rock.

The island of Batanta affords exceptionally good Indonesia muck diving, with chances to see Mimic octopus and if you are lucky do some Raja Ampat Wonderpus dives!

Aljui Bay presents more top Raja Ampat muck dives and some of the best night diving Indonesia has to offer with potential for Toadfish, Frogfish, Wobbegongs and the Epaulette shark under the moonlight here!

Fam Island with its array of “amazing technicolor” Acropora corals, offers world class Raja Ampat scuba diving over vibrantly colourful stony coral landscapes.

The island of Kri features thrilling Four Kings drift diving and such a unique variety of fishes – it has been labeled the number one Raja Ampat dive site for reef fish diversity!

Mansuar Island offers West Papua divers probably the best chance of Manta Ray diving Raja Ampat - with chances to see Mantas at “Manta Sandy”.

Day 11 = (2 dives) Final diving day with 2 more high quality Indonesia dives before sailing back to Sorong Harbour.

Departs, 1st day from Bima/Labuan Bajo/Maumere

Departure time depends on local flight times and which Komodo diving liveaboard cruise guests have elected to join. Without cost land transfers are ONLY available from either the Airport or guest Hotels in the same town as the port of embarkation (for example Bima, Labuan Bajo or Maumere) to this top class Komodo National Park liveaboard diving boat on the day of departure. All other transfers (both air and land) on the outbound journey are NOT included and guests will need to make their own arrangements to get to the destination port.

If everyone arrives ahead of schedule, then MSV Amira can depart earlier.

Returns, last day Labuan Bajo/Bima/Maumere

After breakfast and saying goodbye to the crew and new dive buddies, free transfers are included from this top Komodo liveaboard to the Airport at the port of disembarkation (for example Labuan Bajo, Bima or Maumere) to catch your onward pre-booked flight OR your chosen Hotel if continuing your diving holiday.

Last dive ends at 12 Noon on the second-last day

This is to ensure a minimum pre-flight surface interval of 18 hours (No Fly Time) before flying after diving the next day.

MSV Amira KALIMANTAN Liveaboard Trip Schedule (all cruises start and finish in Tanjung Batu Pier, Kalimantan)

Departs 17.00pm, 1st day from Tg. Batu Pier, Kalimantan

If everyone arrives ahead of schedule, then MSV Amira can depart earlier. Free transfers are included on the day of departure from Berau Airport to the luxury high budget Kalimantan liveaboard MSV Amira, which is docked 2.5 hours away overland at Tanjung Batu Pier.

Returns 05.00am, last day Tanjung Batu Pier, Kalimantan

After breakfast and saying goodbye to the crew and new dive buddies, free transfers are included from this top Kalimantan liveaboard to Berau Airport (transfer time 2.5 hours) to catch your pre-booked flight back to Balikpapan OR your chosen Hotel if continuing your Sulawesi diving holiday.

Last dive ends at 12 Noon on the second-last day

This is to ensure a minimum pre-flight surface interval of 18 hours (No Fly Time) before flying after diving the next day.

Diving Days = 8 days (maximum 28 dives)

COVID-19 Indonesia Travel Information

From the 10th of June 2023 onwards – visitors are no longer required to provide any proof of vaccination for international arrivals and domestic travel within Indonesia.

Additionally, the Indonesian Government has also extended Visa On Arrival (VOA) to 86 Nationalities who are eligible to enter Indonesia without a visa for up to 30 days, as well as the Visa Exemption Arrangement (VEA) to more ASEAN members. For a complete list of countries and special entities for VOA and VEP please double check with your local Embassy of Indonesia.

Citizens from Countries/Territories NOT on these lists must apply for and be granted an eVISA (B211A) online BEFORE flying to Indonesia.

Please Note: Pre travel to Indonesia post COVID-19 – ALL visitors MUST:

1. Have a passport that is valid for at least 6 months, that it is in good order, has enough available pages and that you are allowed to enter Indonesia. Please check with your local Indonesia Embassy if you are not sure.

2. Have proof (paper based AND digital) of a return ticket OR a one-way ticket to continue your journey to another country for (VOA & eVISA holders).

The above conditions are subject to change / amendment to change at short notice. All visitors are personally responsible for ensuring that they follow the latest Indonesian rules & regulations regarding entry and Indonesia Visa requirements.

If you are unsure of your entry and Indonesia Visa requirements – then please double check with your local Embassy of Indonesia.

Please note:

*Fuel surcharges/distance fees are NOT included and vary according to destination. Due to rising fuel costs MSV Amira have implemented the following fuel surcharges:

Cruises to Raja Ampat = US$380 PER person.

Cruises to The Forgotten Islands = US$590 PER person.

Cruises to Komodo = US$220 PER person.

All other routes - please ask for applicable fuel surcharges / distance fees.

Although Scuba Diving Insurance, Travel Insurance, Medical Insurance and Cancellation Insurance are presently not compulsory - we would strongly recommend that you obtain comprehensive Scuba Diving, Travel, Medical and Cancellation Insurance for ALL MSV Amira Indonesia liveaboard diving safaris. If you have neither comprehensive travel insurance or diving insurance then you would be highly advised to look at obtaining your own comprehensive scuba dive, accident, medical, baggage and trip cancellation/interruption insurance prior to joining any Amira premium diving Indonesia liveaboard cruise.

Dive computers although not presently compulsory – are again strongly advised for your safety on ALL MSV Amira diving liveaboard tours. If you do not have a dive computer then one can be rented onboard for 8 Euros per day.

For all Amira Indonesia diving liveaboard trips, we strongly recommend that guests spend one night in a local Hotel BEFORE the trip - in case of any unforeseeable flight/luggage delays or flight cancellations.
