Moana KOMODO Liveaboard Trip Schedule (all diving cruises start and finish in Bajo Port, Labuan Bajo (LBJ), Western Flores)

Free land transfers from Guest Hotels/Labuan Bajo Airport to Labuan Bajo Port to the bargain Flores scuba diving liveaboard Moana are provided on the day of departure.

Returns at 11.00am, last day Bajo Port, Labuan Bajo, Western Flores

After breakfast and saying a goodbye to the crew and new dive buddies, free transfers are provided from this great value Komodo diving liveaboard to the Airport to catch your pre-booked flight to Bali OR your chosen Hotel if holidaying longer in Flores.

Last dive ends around 12 Noon (midday) on the second-to-last day

This allows the minimum pre-flight surface interval of 18 hours before flying after diving the next day. Guests can then spend the rest of the day relaxing, chilling out and taking in the scenery on the cruise back to Labuan Bajo on this top Flores liveaboard.

Day 1 = (1-2 dives) After guests arrive from Bali they will be transferred to the affordable Komodo scuba diving liveaboard Moana, which is moored at Labuan Bajo Port. By 10am - 11am everyone will be onboard and welcome drinks will be served before setting sail. A boat briefing and cruise orientation will be given, followed by a check-out dive at either Sabalon or Sabayur. Quality Indonesia night diving at Gili Lava Darat. Dinner and overnight cruise to North Komodo.

Day 2 = (4 dives) North Komodo: Wicked diving at Crystal Rock, Castle Rock, Light House – world class Indonesia diving, with lots of hunting fish and hopefully some Komodo shark diving with reef sharks! Night dive at Gili Lava Passage. Will also be time in the afternoon to climb up to a nice viewpoint and enjoy amazing panoramic views of the moon shaped islands of the Komodo Archipelago and of mainland Flores!

Day 3 = (4 dives) Komodo: Dives will be chosen on the day based on the conditions, but Flores scuba divers can expect five star Indonesia liveaboard diving! Guests will also visit many beautiful little islands and enjoy walks along deserted beaches on this great low budget Komodo liveaboard!

Day 4 = (4 dives) Komodo – Pink Beach: Batu Bolong, Tatawa, Moana’s Manta Point (one of the number one Indonesia Manta Ray dive sites to hopefully see Manta Rays!) and some top Komodo night diving as chosen by the guests.

Day 5 = (1-2 dives) Rinca: Current City and Pulau Tengah for some fantastic Indonesia drift diving, with chances to see sharks - Grey reef sharks & Whitetip reef sharks if lady luck is on your side?! This is followed by a magical “Dragon walk” on Rinca island with a Park Ranger to spot the world famous Komodo Dragons!

Day 6 = (0 dives) Possible snorkeling at Pulau Bidadari. After breakfast, it will be time to say ciao and disembark. Complimentary transfers are included from the quality low-cost Indonesia liveaboard KLM Moana to the Airport for those catching a flight to Bali OR a Labuan Bajo Hotel if continuing their Komodo diving vacation!

COVID-19 Indonesia Travel Information

From the 10th of June 2023 onwards – visitors are no longer required to provide any proof of vaccination for international arrivals and domestic travel within Indonesia.

Additionally, the Indonesian Government has also extended Visa On Arrival (VOA) to 86 Nationalities who are eligible to enter Indonesia without a visa for up to 30 days, as well as the Visa Exemption Arrangement (VEA) to more ASEAN members. For a complete list of countries and special entities for VOA and VEP please double check with your local Embassy of Indonesia.

Citizens from Countries/Territories NOT on these lists must apply for and be granted an eVISA (B211A) online BEFORE flying to Indonesia.

Please Note: Pre travel to Indonesia post COVID-19 – ALL visitors MUST:

1. Have a passport that is valid for at least 6 months, that it is in good order, has enough available pages and that you are allowed to enter Indonesia. Please check with your local Indonesia Embassy if you are not sure.

2. Have proof (paper based AND digital) of a return ticket OR a one-way ticket to continue your journey to another country for (VOA & eVISA holders).

Please note:

*Fuel surcharges. While there is currently no fuel surcharge - in certain circumstances it may be possible prices change after a contract between the Boat Operator/Agent and the guest has been entered into. The circumstances under which this may occur, are increases in transportation costs - including significant rising fuel costs. In such cases, it will therefore be necessary to implement a fuel surcharge PER person on the kind understanding that guests agree to pay any justifiable increase.

Scuba Diving Insurance is a must have for ALL Moana Cruising Indonesia liveaboard safaris. We would also strongly recommend that you obtain comprehensive travel insurance. If you have neither comprehensive travel insurance or diving insurance then you MUST look at obtaining your own comprehensive scuba dive, accident, medical, baggage and trip cancellation/interruption insurance prior to joining an Flores diving liveaboard cruise.

Dive computers are compulsory for your safety on ALL Moana Cruising Komodo liveaboard trips. If you do not own one, then one can be rented onboard for 55 Euro per trip.

For safety, every diver is also required to have at least one surface marker buoy on all KLM Moana Cruising liveaboard dive tours. One can be provided free of charge if you do not have your own.
